this year cameron and i built an altar in our home to celebrate dia de los muertos and honor those we have loved who have passed on. the altar is built by giving offrendas to the dead in order to honor and remember them. the four natural elements – earth, wind, fire and water – are used as part of the altar in order to lure and nourish our dearly departed after their long journeys.
