My parents came out last weekend to visit us in LA for the first time since the wedding and we had a lot of fun showing them around the city. It was kind of emotional to see them for the first time in almost 4 months so it wasn’t surprising that their visit was a lot of fun. In the 2 and half days they were here we took them site seeing around Santa Monica, did some shopping and site seeing in Venice, did breakfast at Grand Casino Bakery and dinner at Ugo in Culver City (both highly recommended!) and celebrated their birthdays (both on September 23) at La Fonda, close to downtown, where we ate delicious comida Mexicana while taking in a Mariachi/Baile folklorico show. We also took the time to relax poolside and watch Michigan beat Indiana on Saturday (GO BLUE!). It was a great visit and even though Thanksgiving feels far away now, it’s going to be here before we know it.

Looks like a fun time with your folks! Tell them hello for us. And I don’t think I ever congratulated on your new job! AWESOME! I’m sure you will enjoy it and you will be great at it. Miss you guys!
It sure was great to see you both, meet your babies Luna and Apollo, and spend time in sunny LA! Remember the Randy Newman song “I Love LA”? Well now I can relate – it sure is a beautiful place… We are looking forward to more memorable visits to California and exploring other parts of the state too!
Congrats again on your new position with NALEO Cristina!
Evangelina and I are very proud of you and Cameron!!!
